Holiday Survival 101
Simple lessons to ease the holiday frenzy...
- Grocery shopping is much easier if you do a little bit at a time. Purchase non-perishable items before the rush and store them in the pantry or freezer.
- Get a head start on house cleaning. Focus on one area at a time to make it more manageable.
- You can polish silver weeks in advance. Store freshly polished silver in storage bags. Sealing out the air will help prevent tarnishing.
- Enjoy blazing fires throughout the winter by stacking and storing wood in a cool dry place before the weather turns cold and rainy.
